Cailey Hopkins

is a YA author with a soft spot for fiercely flawed girls in extraordinary situations.

She grew up on a horse ranch on Vancouver Island, Canada, where she concocted potions from huckleberries, devoured every Stephen King book she could get her hands on, and wrote musicals for her siblings to act out. They loved it. Really.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in marketing. When she’s not writing fiction, she works as a speechwriter, penning content to promote equality for women, girls, and gender-diverse people. She is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the Canadian Authors Association.

She remains on Vancouver Island with her partner and two kids.
